We decided that before we moved we had better make it up to Pullman. We were SO excited to take our kids there and visit our old stomping grounds. It was a long drive but totally worth it.
Here is the bridge over the Salmon river. We love seeing all of the rivers in that part of the country. I had forgotten how pretty it is in Northern Idaho.
After a long drive we were very happy to get out of the car at Wawawai Park-one of my favorite spots on earth. It was one of the first places we went (with Gordon & Trish) when we first moved to Pullman. We spent so much time there on the Snake River. Dalton and Syd were really disappointed when there wasn't a play structure at the 'park'.
Brett and I trying to take a selfie. We are not good at them!
On our Wawawai hike.
Overlooking the Snake
Such a pretty spot.
Saige can always be found in a tree somewhere.
We talked to this guy who was fishing with his bow and arrow. Pretty cool.
Then it was off to Ferdinand's for some delicious ice cream and cheese. I had Huckleberry-delish!
We had to check out the new football stadium. It's bigger than it was before.
The team was practicing so we got to watch for a minute. Go Cougs!
Brett and the kids in front of one of the vet school buildings. A lot had changed and moved around since 2006. They wouldn't let kids into the hospital now-so stupid! So we didn't get to show the kids all we wanted to.
We walked all over campus and it was so much fun. Except the college students look SO young!
The clock tower.
After walking all over campus we were hungry so we ate dinner at Basillio's-an Italian cafe.
We showed the kids both of the apartments we lived in. This was our Jamar Street one. I don't know why I didn't take a picture of the Chinook one.
After driving around for a bit we decided to head over to Moscow to the Walmart to find some Cougar gear we could afford (we love the bookstore but it's super expensive). We got there and all we could find was Vandal gear. We went through the checkout and asked the cashier where all of the cougar gear was. He said, "they have a bunch in the Pullman Walmart"!
We had NO IDEA they had built a walmart there! We went there the next day.
We stayed at a hotel in Moscow that had a swimming pool and the kids sure had fun. We miss having our own pool SO bad and it makes me sad that Dalton and Sydney don't know how to swim.
Dalton swam all the way across the pool and earned a candy bar from his dad!
