Day 3 started with a trip to Deaconess-where I spent 3 weeks on bedrest and M&S were born. And again the smells were killing me. I didn't realize how strong that sense was tied to memories. Crazy!
3rd floor NICU
This was my room-with a view of the high school next door.
We even got to talk to one of the nurses that worked there when we were there.
Then we headed over to Riverwalk park to meet our friends Luke and Melissa and their girls.
We fed the ducks...
Played with the garbage goat...
Rode the Carousel...
The carousel has this fun game where you have to reach out and grab this ring and try to throw it through into this hole on the other side. If you happen to grab a gold ring you get a free ride next time.
We then rode the tram to see the waterfalls.
These girls seriously had so much fun together. I couldn't believe how well they hit it off. Made me sad we don't live close to them.
After the falls we went to Dicks Burgers for lunch. Then we went back to the Peterson's to hang out for a bit. Then later the kids came over to our hotel to swim. Then the kids watched a movie in the hotel while we went out to a nice italian restaurant. It was so much fun to see them again.
