Marysvale Canyon Bike Ride-March 18, 2017

When Stef was here we thought it would be fun to go on a bike ride down Marysvale Canyon. We had a great time! A few mishaps-Jade's chain broke. Like broke in half. So he had to walk the rest of the way. Stef's bike with with baby seat that we had borrowed from Mekeisha was not working right and it was so hard to pedal. It wouldn't coast like the rest of them. So we all had to take turns biking Zach. The kids were up in front of us almost the whole time.

The kids found a hill they thought they needed to climb.

We had to stop for some pictures at the train tunnel (even though we weren't supposed to).

Then we loaded up our bikes and found a spot in the canyon to have a picnic lunch. I remember that when we were eating, mom had some plastic cups and one of them had Chance's name on it. It made 

us sad that he wasn't there.

Skiing at Brian Head-March 15th 2017

We had a great day on the slopes in March with all of the kids. Brian Head is my favorite resort for green runs (my level) so it was perfect for Dalton and Sydney too. 

We didn't make these snowmen-just found it and took a picture by them.

We did have a couple unfortunate incidents-Brett and Dalton got all tangled up getting off of the lift once. And also Dalton went into the terrain park at one point and his ski came off. Other than that it was a successful trip.

And speaking of french fries, we stopped for some at the drive-in in Parowan on our way home. We were ALL exhausted but we had a very fun day!

Skiing in Alta-March 11, 2017

Brett wanted to take the girls skiing at his FAVORITE Utah ski resort-ALTA.

So he pulled them out of school in February and went for the day. They came home earlier than I had expected and they never actually made it on the slopes. They got all of the way up there and there had been an avalanche in the canyon and the traffic was a NIGHTMARE, so they finally found a way to turn around and headed for home. They were so disappointed. 

So on March 11 they gave it another shot. I wasn't there so I can't offer any details but it looks like they had a fun time!
