May-random pics

Brett loves to have his feet rubbed after a long day of work. Good thing the babies like to do it!

Not sure what's going on here but it sure looks fun (and dangerous)!

Sisters! All different hair colors. So fun!
This little one HATES having her hair done. I have finally made a deal with her-she has to let me do it on Sundays. Even then she takes it out as soon as I'm not looking.

This little guy loves to do anything that his dad does. Funny how boys really are born boys. His favorite thing to do is pull his pants down and show his sisters his bum. He says, "NAKED BUM"!  and then laughs his head off. He also likes to fart on them. He has not been shown any of these things by example which proves the fact that boys and girls are very different from day 1.

On the lawn mower-the safest place from the snakes.

Time for another haircut.

Dalton loves to read. Syd's attention span is much shorter than his when it comes to reading.
Playing at the park while the girls are at piano lessons. I thought they were too little for this but they went up one side and down the other.

The girls had a piano recital in May and apparently these are the only 2 pictures I took. I videoed them playing for Brett (he was working) but failed to take pictures too.
Love when he winks! It doesn't look like it in this pictures but he really can do it.

Too Tired

My kids have never been good nappers. Madi and Saige stopped napping at 18 months and it nearly killed me. Dalton and Sydney stopped at about 2 1/2, which was much better.
But in the spring of 2015 they started needing a nap again. They started to fall asleep all over the house in the most random and uncomfortable spots. So we started napping them again and it worked for about 6 months. It was such a blessing and allowed me to spend a few minutes each day on my new primary calling.

This one is my favorite! She must have been REALLY tired!
Dalton got in big trouble because he peed in his undies. I was cleaning up the mess and told him to go get a new pair of undies. He got them on this far and then fell asleep on my bed.

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?

Not long after we moved here, we found out we were living in a desolate, snake infested place.
I cannot express is words how much I HATE snakes.
We saw SEVERAL on our lawn this spring and this one met up with Brett on the lawnmower. I thought it would be so fun to have a huge yard for the kids to play but in the spring and summer we make them stay on the sidewalk and driveway only because it is not safe.

Primary Posters

When we first moved to Mountain Home, ID the girls were given these blank all-about-me posters to fill out for primary.
I thought it would be fun to post what they wrote.

1st swim meet of 2014-Mtn. Home VS. Parma

I can't even begin to explain how much we missed our pool this summer. But, the girls were still able to join the swim team. The babies didn't get to swim once this summer and that made me so sad because they loved it so much last summer. I don't even like to think about how much fun they would have had in it and the fact that they won't even remember having a pool breaks my heart.
These pictures are from the 1st swim meet with Parma. The girls acted like they were swimming in the arctic ocean. They were shivering and shaking and with the wind chill it really was cold. I kept flashing back to lasts years meets about how hot we were and I couldn't decide which was worse!

Twister fun

I don't remember when these were taken but I'm thinking it was right at the beginning of summer break. They sure had fun playing twister.
