Making Christmas cookies!

We made Christmas cookies this year on the 23rd. Brett was on-call all of Christmas so I didn't want to get started and then have him get called out. The kids had a blast and we made a HUGE mess-sprinkles, frosting, flour, and cookie crumbs everywhere! They were DELICIOUS! I was laughing at the kids because I got all of my cookie cutters out and they were picking all of the non-Christmas ones. So we set out a spider, heart, easter bunny, and diesel truck cookies for Santa!

 I thought I would post Madi & Saige's wish lists here. I think it is so cute that they don't get too greedy during Christmas. They have always been like that. One year Saige asked for a volleyball. That is it. 

Dalton and Sydney both asked for a loader and walkie talkies this year. Don't know why Syd got on that but she wouldn't say anything else. Silly girl!

                                             Santa came to the Ward Christmas Party. He was so cute and

 took time with each of the kids. Unfortunately Brett got called out so he missed all of it:(

Piano Recital-Dec 2014

 Just before Christmas the girls had a Christmas Piano Recital. Saige played "Frosty the Snowman"

Madi played "Silent Night"

Brett was on call so he was unable to make it :(

They did so great and they like their new teacher, Sister Bedont.

It was a crazy day because we had a violin recital that same day along with Brett's work party. I didn't take pictures of anything but the piano recital-sorry!

Getting ready for Christmas 2014

The girls had fun wrapping up in my tree skirt/garland! We got our tree from Costco again this year and it was probably the prettiest one we've ever had. Smelled wonderful!

The kids had SO much fun decorating the tree. Such fun ages for Christmas. After we took the tree down Dalton was so sad. He kept telling me that when we put our Christmas tree back in our house the snow will come back.

Hang time-nov 2014

A day or 2 after Thanksgiving we took the kids to Hang Time in Orem. They love to go there. It was SUPER crowded with lots of people needing to get out of the house after Thanksgiving! Afterwards, we went to In-N-Out for lunch/dinner.

I guess I didn't get any pictures of Madi & Saige. Gotta do better at taking pictures!
