Golf cart snuggles

 when we get the girls from the bus the babies are so cute. They run to them EVERY TIME and yell madi/saige!!!!!

It's like they are celeberaties that they have never seen before. All of the other moms at the bus stop think it's so cute and say, "I wish someone was that happy to see me"! 

They miss the girls so much when they are at school. 

I love Dalton's face in this one. And there is saige-always got her nose in a book. 

Bob the builder...can we fix it?!

This little boy loves to play with daddy's tools. He was "fixing" the shopping cart. 

He looks super manly until you see the pink binkie in his mouth!

Halloween 2013

We had some spooky trick-or-treaters this year! Two cowgirls-again! And a pirate and kitty. The girls want to be a cowgirl EVERY year. We taught dalton to say "aaarrrrrggggg matie"! He didn't say it that day but says it all the time now. They still remember getting candy and talk about it all the time. 

Thank heavens for Elizabeth who gave us her pirate costumes! Thanks Elizabeth-you are the best!

Carving Pumpkins!

We carved our pumpkins from grandpa  after the babies went to bed. It was messy enough without them! Dad got called out again on pumpkin carving night-2years in a row!

The girls did this cool thing at school. They folded a piece of paper, wrote their name in cursive, and then cut it out. Then added a head and feet and viola! Instant skeleton. If you look at madi's on the side you can read her name. Saiges teacher wasn't there that day and the sub didn't do it quite right so hers is harder to tell. Cute idea!

Circleville-Oct 2013

After we went to midway we made a quick stop in cv on the way back home. The kids were able to spend some time on the farm with my dad. He is SO awesome to always take them with him. I know it's a huge sacrifice for him because they make it hard to get any real work done and he has lots to do. 

All of these pictures are out of order and I can't figure out how to move them on my phone.

We like to play rook at our house. It's very different from the way Brett's family plays and I like both ways. We call ours Mormon rook. Not sure why. This hand was my downfall. I had a good lead but then I was dealt this hand and green was trump! How was I supposed to bid on that??!!

Dad and mom grew pumpkins in their yard for the kids so we got to go pick out some to take home to carve. One more thing to sneak over the CA border through the ag station!

This pic of my grandpa is from our trip in august but I just found it now. I LOVE it. My grandpa is almost 80 and he still goes to work everyday. One day my girls asked me what it means to retire. I explained it a little bit to them and then told them that they don't really need to know what it is because it's not something that we do in our family. I'm so grateful for his example. I could say the same about my grandma and my parents too. They work hard from sun up to sun down and sometimes beyond that as well.
