15th Anniversary & dream home

For our 15th Anniversary brett had a big trip planned but then he got a letter for Jury duty and that really put a kink in our plans. Roy and Martha came up and watched the kids for us (THANKS GUYS!) and we decided to stay close (in Boise) in case he got called back to town for a jury. We had a great time. We made the mistake of trying to Priceline our hotel to save some $ and that didn't end up very good. We learned our lesson that when its your anniversary you just spend the money and stay somewhere nice. The Red Lion is Boise is a dump!
We ate dinner at a restaurant called Mai Thai. It is our new Favorite! Then we just wandered around downtown.

The next day I got a pedicure and Brett got a massage. Then we went to see a house that was in the parade of homes. It is now my dream house and Brett is regretting ever taking me there! I got a copy of the house plans so that it can be ours someday:)

The laundry room and the home office/craft room were AMAZING!

We ate lunch at Jimmy Johns and I liked this quote on the wall.
The rest of the time we shopped and ate good food and went to some movies. Sounds kinda lame but those are the things we rarely get to do now that we live in Mtn. Home.

Bruneau Sand Dunes

April 25, 2015
We decided to hike the Bruneau Sand Dunes in April before it got too hot. After doing it I can't imagine doing it in the heat-I bet it is miserable.
We had a fun day together. The hike to the top was SO hard. We didn't realize you could sled down them-there were so many people that hauled sleds to the top. I looked so fun!

Starting our accent.
The girls are in such great shape-they practically ran up the thing and kept coming back down to tell us something and then heading back up again. Dalton and I were dragging! I was glad he was slow for me to feel better.

These pictures are after we hiked to the top-Syd wanted to swing like a monkey.

Trying to get the sound out of our shoes-it was EVERYWHERE!
This was at the top. It was very windy up there.

Looking down from the top.
The kids had so much fun running down! This is Madi.

View from the top.
After we got home we decided to roast hot dogs and smores by the fire pit.
It was such a fun day!
