October 2015-Out with the old...in with the new

In October we realized we had a MAJOR mice problem in our garage and shop. I didn't want to have any more animals than we already did so the kids and Brett made me a deal-get rid of the chickens and get cats. I wasn't thrilled with the idea but I wanted to get rid of the mice. The kids were a little bit sad to get rid of the chickens but were SO excited to get cats. Madi and Saige are very into the Warrior books so that made them even more excited.

Zoo Boise-October 1, 2015

 We decided to go to the Zoo and when we got there we were pleasantly surprised that it was cheaper because it started a new season and because it is cheaper on Thursdays! That made our trip even more fun. The kids loved everything but their favorite part was feeding the Giraffe. We could not believe how tall they really are and how long and black their tongues are. It's CRAZY! We had fun spending the day together.

 We also walked around a pretty rose garden right outside the zoo. That was fun until the kids got goose poop all over their shoes:(

 It was fun but made us tired:)
