Our child is a NAUGHTY GENIUS!

The stockings were hung...

The rest of the house is a disaster but the fireplace is done and we are very excited for Christmas!
Isn't it a little funny that Dalton and Sydney have the biggest ones?
A very nice lady in our ward made stockings for all our kids. And the red and white ones are the ones we put madi and saige in for a picture when they were babies.

Messy messy messy

A few days ago Brett brought home a 20 lb. bag of yams. One of the guys he knows on one of the dairies gave it to him. He said, "what are we going to do with all of these?"
I said, "we will make baby food, of course"!!
Sweet potatoes were madi and saige's favorite baby food so I am hoping these twins like it too! It took me ALL day (mostly because i had to stop and feed babies every hour) and my kitchen was a sticky nightmare by the time I was done but we now have a BIG supply in the freezer! Let's just hope he doesn't bring home anything like that again for awhile!
It will soon be all over my kitchen again as I try to feed it to some very messy babies!

Equipment

Just thought I'd post a picture of the equipment it takes to keep twins entertained! I didn't pose this stuff for this pic. This is just what my living room looks like all of the time. Not pictured are the two swings-one in our bedroom and one in the living room.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

How is it possible that these little girls are 7? I hate it. They are growing up so fast.
Pretty sad that you have to help make your own birthday cake but it's 'all hands on deck' around here.

This cake was SO much cuter online. I was kind of sad when it was done and it wasn't as cute. I had to remind myself that the person who made it online probably wasn't making it with one baby on her hip while listening to another one screaming from the bouncer in the living room. I am trying to not be so hard on myself after listening to President Uchtdorf's talk in the General RS meeting. If you haven't heard it yet, please read or listen to it. It really is great and will make you feel good.

They got lots of horse things-they are really into horses right now.

Yep, we are Disney bound. We realize it is going to be crazy with two 5 month olds and a breast pump but we are going to try to have fun anyway!!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had planned to have a Yummy dinner with the Phillips/Anthes families and their deep pit turkey. Instead, the girls were sick so I made chicken noodle soup. Brett worked until noon and then we opened presents because it was not only Thanksgiving but the girls' birthday. We are so thankful for them and for all of our many blessings! Here are some pics from Thanksgiving day and then the birthday post will follow.
All of this fun wore Dalton out!

 Little turkeys

Babies

Just random pics of the babies
 Cute hats

Picking up the girls from the bus stop
Dalton eats every bottle like this now. He has such a hard life.
 Bumbo fun!
I didn't even notice until uploading it now that Dalton is in the pink and Syd is in the blue Bumbo. Sleep deprivation has made me color blind!

After church-Dalton wearing his capris and big boy shoes. He has such long arms and legs that none of his clothes fit the way they should.

Napping with mom. Mom is the one who really needs the nap!

 Hey, there you are!

 Playing footsies-LOVE IT!
