In January our ward had their new beginnings. I was so glad to be there because my mom was the speaker. She did such a great job teaching the girls about how Heavenly Father knows them personally and how he wants them to talk to him. They wanted her to talk about her cancer and although she wants to just forget the whole thing she did such a great job and really held her composure. I didn't-cried through the whole thing. I'm still so grateful that she is here with us and that we are now here with her!
Also in January the girls had to give their very first youth talk in Sacrament meeting. They did a great job even though they were really nervous. Terry and Deanna also did an excellent job. It was a good meeting. Roy and Martha were able to come over and we had a fun day playing games and eating yummy food. Martha brought some pie from Croshaw's that was delish and of course her homemade sugar cookies and swiss bread. Roy and Brett have sure been having fun playing pool and we are all so happy being close enough to our family to see them more often.
