General Conference-Oct. 2013

We were so lucky to get to go up for general conference in October. The kids were SO excited. They loved "helping" pack their suitcases.

The conference center is so huge and I love being there! It was SO fun to be able to take the girls. It was their 2nd time going. They do not like the protesters outside on Temple square. They were very concerned and couldn't understand why people would be doing that. I find it pretty entertaining.

Too bad all of those big ugly buildings were built around the Temple. It makes it hard to see just how incredible it is.

We stopped in for a quick minute to show the girls the Tabernacle where they used to hold conference. It's a beautiful building.

My cousin Justin had just gotten married so aunt Laurie and Dave were able to stay up north and join us for conference. It was fun to be with them.

On more thing I remember about conference is that syd got really scared of public restrooms (who can blame her, right?!!) on our drive there and the whole trip she refused to use any potties. She also didn't want to pee in her diaper so she made herself miserable and sick to her stomach because she was holding it for as long as possible EVERY time she needed to go.
