I decided that since we had lived in our house for more than 4 years it was time to decorate and hang a few things on the walls. I picked out some cute fabric and had my friend sew some curtain panels for me, I ordered decroative pillows, hung some stuff on the walls and decided to paint my piano. This was highly uncharacteristic of me but I found some stuff called chalk paint that was very easy to work with and you didn't have to do any sanding or strip the paint before you started. It also dries in 20 minutes so you can complete a project pretty quick. I really wanted to do bright yellow to match the curtains and some wallpaper I found but I was out-voted and my family chose blue.
Right in the middle of my piano project my peaches were on so I went back and forth between the two. My dishwasher also broke so it was crazy. Everything was so messy and stuck for a few days. We had about 400 peaches from our 2 peach trees and they were SO delicious.
We also ordered a new bookshelf to hold all of the violin stuff and painted all of our walls. It finally looked like we lived there.

Nat you did an awesome job with your home. It was beautiful with the colors you chose and all your hard work. The fruit and jam lined up on your bar is pretty darn impressive. What great memories of your CA days.
