Hurry up fall!

As if trying to make the fall weather come sooner I have changed the look of our blog. I couldn't be more ready for soups, pumpkin pie, football season, leaves changing, hot chocolate, apple cider, cooler weather, etc. Did you notice that most of the things I get excited about are food?! I just love spending time in the kitchen in the fall after a summer of avoiding turning the oven on at all costs. I better watch it though. Saige told me yesterday that my tummy is getting so big (which would be fine for her to say if I was pregnant-but I am not). When I asked her why she said that she said, "because of all of the food you put in there"! I love that kids can be honest. Well, off to the gym...

Don't kids say the funniest things!! Cute girls. I am so ready for fall to. It's staring to cool down in St. George, but not quick enough for me. I want to wear jackets and have hot chocolate for breakfast!! Thanks for sharing your cute family with us!

I can't wait for Fall either. It was cold all day yesterday and I was so excited. We are having family pic this week, we are trying to get the leaves changing.

I made chicken noodle soup and bread on Friday for this very reason. Hard to feel like fall here at 92 degrees today, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I'm homesick for that brisk feel of Koosharem air and riding on the mountain to see the fall leaves. Even missing running at cross country meets and getting ready for state volleyball. Ahhh.. fall.

I, too, love the new blog look. I also agree with the sentiments about fall. I love so many things about it, so AMEN! I'm not sure I miss running in XC meets - I do miss being in shape, though. :-D Take care, Nat, and keep the updates coming!

Natalie - I love your new look. Your thoughts about fall are mine too. But I don't think I'll do much cooking for a while. Spring and fall are my favorite seasons. Can't wait to see you on Monday.

Ooooh... I totally agree about fall. I love those things! We were at the park this morning and I was thinking, "I can't believe it can stay this warm here in October -- it's not like we're in Bakersfield." :)

Have you had the pumpkin pie from Costco? It's sooo good. In fact, my mom stopped making her own at Thanksgiving because it wasn't any better than Costco's (and my mom's a great cook). I bought one last week and Davey is a true convert. He has had many fits asking for pumpkin pie... mmm... I think I need to go get more!
