When Madi woke up this morning and crawled into bed with me, she mentioned how many freckles I had on my arms, face, and everywhere else! I was tired and didn't respond. Then she said, "you should give some to some other kids". I said, "what?" She replied, "you have so many, you should share some!"
Believe me-I would if I could. Anyone want a few of my freckles? I have been humbled and am now willing to share!
Madisen still had a fever this morning so I kept her home from school. She was so sad to have to stay home-especially when we dropped Saige off. When Saige got home and we were done with lunch Saige said, "I have a good idea mom. Why don't you and Madi lay down on her bed and have a little rest and I will lay on my bed and be very quiet and not talk while you guys sleep?" I couldn't believe that she was offering to go lay down on her bed. It didn't work out quite like she had planned. She was the first one asleep-quickly followed by her sister. I think it is safe to say that I have some sick girls on my hands. They have never before offered to take a nap.
One other funny thing-Laurel asked her at preschool if she had fun camping. She said, "we had fun but mom didn't go. She was on a break!" Well said Saige!

Saige told me just today that mom didn't go camping because she really needed a break. They are so cute. I'm sorry they are feeling under the weather.
NATALIE!!!!! I can't believe that your little girlies are soooooo old. They are SERIOUSLY the cutest things I have ever seen. The last time I saw them or saw a picture of them they were a few months old. Sounds like they keep you busy. What else is new with you guys!?? Are you still in CA?
I miss them! I didn't know you went camping. Where did you go?
I wish I could see them in action at preschool.
There is nothing worse than a sick kid. I hope they feel better soon.
I loved all those stories. They sure are funny. I miss you guys. I'm ready to come move out there and get a job. Start looking ;)

By the way, I loved this story when I read it the other day. Funny thing, the Nie you asked about has lots of freckles and loves them. Nie is Stephanie Nielson. She and her husband Christian were in a plane accident last month and are in the Maricopa County Hospital burn unit. She was burned on over 80% of her body. She has been featured in the NY times and on the today show because the blogging world has rallied to raise so much money in their behalf. Hi Nat, I am not sure how I found you, friends of friends of friends. But it's funny Teri was just telling me some funny stories that Stef had told her about your girls. They are so beautiful! And so full of it from what I hear. :) It's crazy how old our girls are getting! Keep in touch!
