Brain-dead bird

So, we have a bird that likes to visit us. He comes to the same window literally 50 times a day and pecks on it as hard as he can. It is loud. For some crazy reason he wants to get in to this nut house. Maybe he thinks this is the Psyc ward and he wants to come in for help.
It is driving me absolutely crazy. If we don't "take care of him" soon, I will be the one that my family is taking to the nut house!

Helpers

Just one of the many jobs I have turned over to the kids!

Violin Recital

Madi and Saige had their Violin Recital last week. They did such a good job and worked really hard on their songs. I am so thankful that Grandma Remund was here to help them practice and get ready for it-im not really feeling up to fighting with them during practice time these days. I also want to say how much I LOVE their teacher Elvira. She is so patient with them and I love how she explains things to them. I hope they will stick with it because they have come so far since we started two years ago.

Little sis and bro

We did something so fun tonight. We took the girls to Build-A-Bear to make a stuffed animal for their new brother and sister. Someone gave me the idea and I thought it was so cute. Saige picked an animal for our baby girl and Madi picked one for our baby boy. Then we brought them home and put them in their cribs, awaiting their arrival. They are going to be the best big sisters ever.

Easter

Dying Easter Eggs-one of my girls' favorite things about Easter and the thing I hate most about Easter!

Two Front Teeth!

Saige decided on Friday that she wanted to pull out one of her top teeth. It all started when the girls were wrestling in the living room and Madi accidentally kicked Saige in the mouth and loosened one of her front teeth. The next thing I heard was, "THANKS MADI! You loosened my tooth!!"
She then spent the next 3 hours wiggling it with a paper towel in her hand (to clean up the blood). When Brett got home she asked for help and he tried but couldn't get it. 10 minutes later she got it out herself.

I guess getting the 1st tooth out allowed her to wiggle the 2nd tooth a lot more because the next day she pulled it out too. We were worried that the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny would run into each other on Saturday night!
Here is the difference between the two girls. When Madi looses a tooth, Saige cries for days because "It's Not Fair"!
When Saige looses a tooth, Madi makes her a poster that says, "Happy Tooth Day Saige-Love Madi"!

Spoiled

I have been spoiled a lot lately. I am supposed to be 'taking it easy' to try to keep these babies in my belly as long as possible (and keeping my giant feet up to reduce the swelling). I'm 28 weeks now and I started going into pre-term labor with Madi and Saige at 29 weeks so I am starting to get pretty nervous. I have cut back on a lot of things that I normally do and we have been living a very simple lifestyle. My girls have been SO helpful. I am confident that if I had to go on bed rest (at home) they could hold down the fort. This is what I have been waking up to the past two weeks. Madi gets up and puts on her cutest outfit so that she can be the waitress. Then she sets the table and 'makes' cereal. Because she is the waitress, she gets to pour everyone's milk-this drives Saige crazy! She also makes a name tag for everyone to know where to sit and puts a small chocolate by our bowls for an after breakfast dessert. :)
I am so thankful for all of their help. They helped Brett put 2 cribs together last night and they are constantly helping me around the house. They are the perfect age for us to be expecting twins-again!
