Symphony

Last Saturday we were able to take the girls to the Symphony. They had a guest violinist (Axel Strauss) coming to play with them. He was AMAZING. He made sounds come from the violin that I had never heard before. He played Tchaikovsky’s Concerto for Violin.
It was incredible.
Unfortunately, the symphony didn't start until 8 pm, which is the time the girls normally go to bed. They were so tired that about 15 minutes into it they were asking for pillows and blankets! They fell asleep a few times but we woke them up for the good parts and I think they really enjoyed it.
The girls were so excited to see some horse statues outside of the auditorium. And they LOVED getting dressed up. I think it is fun that sometimes they want to dress exactly alike.
This is the girls' violin teacher, Elvira. We just love her and it was so fun to see her playing in the symphony. She is AMAZING herself!

We got a text from our babysitter while at the symphony with this video attached. This is what was going on a home while we were away.
Little Stinkers!

The funniest part of our night is that we got all dressed up for this event. Then, when it was almost over, I happened to touch the back of my skirt and there was melted cheese ALL over it from our dinner. HOW EMBARRASSING! I will just stick to my pjs for awhile again-no one cares if you walk around with cheese on those!

Love that all of you could have a cultural refinement evening together. At least you didn't have TP hanging from your skirt after going to the restroom. I would have loved going to the symphony. The girls are so darn cute. I love that Dalton and Syd are getting into trouble together. Syd laughing at the possibilities with the open door.
