Vacation Day #2 was a trip to the Sequoias! I have been there before but was amazed all over again at how big the trees really are!
My dad especially loved it since he recently got into the logging business. Too bad he can't just log a couple of these big boys-they'd have enough lumber for a really long time!
My dad is a tall guy and next to the trees he looked tiny!

The General Sherman is 275 ft. tall and is believed to be the largest tree in the world (in volume, not height). They say that 120 houses could be built from it-pretty amazing!

Wow - those are big trees. Looks like you had a great family vacation. I'm so glad since Chance will be leaving in a few months. Madi and Saige are soooo grown up. Your family all looks so good.
