Zoo Boise-October 1, 2015

We decided to go to the Zoo and when we got there we were pleasantly surprised that it was cheaper because it started a new season and because it is cheaper on Thursdays! That made our trip even more fun. The kids loved everything but their favorite part was feeding the Giraffe. We could not believe how tall they really are and how long and black their tongues are. It's CRAZY! We had fun spending the day together.

Syd pulled her hand back pretty fast:)

Dalton did not want to pose for a picture in the monkey house?

We also walked around a pretty rose garden right outside the zoo. That was fun until the kids got goose poop all over their shoes:(
It was fun but made us tired:)

September 2015-Random

My friend Brianne sent this to me about my mom. I loved it. Her sweet mom Shelley lost her brave battle with cancer about 5 years ago. It started when we were just starting High school and she fought it over and over and over again. She is one of my favorite people. Love and miss her.
My mom certainly is a "little fighter" in more ways that one:)
D forgot his sunglasses so he had to borrow mine. I don't know if I have written about this before but he is extremely sensitive to light. He can't be outside without them. I have about 20 pair and I usually am pretty good about keeping them in lots of spots but this particular day I couldn't find one in the car.
I thought this was a cool fundraising idea. The football team puts these on peoples lawns and then they have to pay to have them come to move them. But when they do pay, they get to pick someone else's lawn to put it on. Pretty fun and creative.
I thought it was funny that they were sleeping in like a mirror image of each other
I saw this shirt and wanted to buy it SO bad for my mom but I knew she wouldn't wear it.
The firetruck came at Preschool and Dalton was in Heaven. He talked about Firefighter Ryan for weeks!

General Women's Broadcast/Trip with the Laurels-September 2015

In August I was released as Primary President and put in as the Laurel Advisor. One of the first things we did after I got in was take the Laurels to Utah for the General Women's Session of General Conference. I had never been to this session live before so I was excited! It was also a good time to get to know the Laurels in our ward. We had a great time and I really enjoyed getting to know Jill Johnson-what an amazing lady! LOVE HER!
We got there really late Friday night and then got up really early the next morning to do Baptisms for the dead at the Mt. Timpanogus Temple. Jill's sons that go to BYU came and baptized the girls and that was really special. Then we went back to Marci's house (Jill's sister where we stayed) to eat and amazing breakfast of cinnamon roll pancakes.
We then went up and walked around Temple square and spent some time at the mall before going to the Conference. We have a very diverse group of Laurels so it was fun to see all of their different personalities.

One if the girls invited this boy to come hang out with us that used to live in MH but now lives in Utah. It was awkward having him with us all day;)

The best part for me was that we had an extra ticket and I was able to invite Nicole to meet us there. I love her and don't get to see enough of her!

After conference was over we headed for home. It was a LONG day and a half but I'm so glad I was able to go.

September 10, 2015-CJ Strike

CJ was surprisingly clean for this time of the year so we decided to go down one more time with the Raymonds. There were not enough days that we got to do that with them. We love our Idaho Raymond Family:)
