Christmas in Circleville 2011

Syd got some cute zebra pjs from Grandma for Christmas
Dalton getting a bath-he's very squirmy now.
We played LOTS of settlers and 'Mormon Rook"til the wee hours of the morning.
The girls found some cats and played with them a lot. Well, actually, Madi played with them and Saige took pictures of them with her new camera (she is allergic).
We made lots of ice cream. Our favorite was pistachio.
We watched "Dreamer"for New Years Eve. Grandpa and Syd didn't make it to Midnight (none of us did)!
Grandpa likes to do lots of tricks with babies. He is already swinging them in the blankets.
Grandma gave the babies new church clothes (they really needed them and are SO cute)

My mom made bread while we were there. When I cut into one of the loaves, this is what I found. She really does cook with love!!!!!

My aunt Ranae drove over one day to see us. It was so fun to visit with her. She is one AMAZING lady!
These pictures make it look like I took them with a terrible camera-nope-their faces really are that dirty. they spent most of the 2 weeks we were there 'helping' Grandpa on the farm. They came home filthy every day. It makes me SO happy (and I'm not being sarcastic).
None of these pictures are in order.
These are from our family Christmas Eve party.
We had an ugly sweater contest and played some fun games.

 Of course-there were wrestling matches

Dad and Ashtin were the winners. What is funny about that is that this is a sweater my dad actually used to wear. He bought it down on the reservation when they used to sell potatoes down there. Ashtin's sweater had a bunch of cats on the bottom playing with yarn. It was pretty ugly!

These girls love to be together.
 Christmas morning!

Stef gave the girls "giggle goggles" and we all had so much fun with them!

Rub-a-dub-dub. Three girls in the tub!

Christmas in Midway 2011

We had such a great time at Christmas this year and even though the drive to (drove straight through from Bako. to Midway. 1 pm to 4 am.) and from was CRAZY, we are so glad we went. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our time in Midway.

 Charli 'kissing' Sydney!
Saige was doing some crazy moves while playing mario cart
 reading together
these girls love their grandpa. he brought them the cutest nesting dolls from russia.

 cousin sleepover-so much fun!
we got to see santa AND mrs. clause this year. my girls liked mrs. clause even better than santa. they kept saying, "she is SO nice"!

these girls got LOTS of fun stuff
 so did these babies

on our way to church

Over the river, and through the woods...

to GRANDMOTHER'S house we go!
We used to sing that song all of the time on our way to see my grandparents in Greenville. Even if it wasn't Christmas. Anyway, here is Syd. We were trying to go through some of Madi and Saige's old clothes to find some cold weather clothes for the babies. Unfortunately, this cute pink hat was too small. Fortunately, there wasn't ANY snow in the 3 weeks we were there (weird) so we didn't have to worry about keeping them warm.

It was one of those days...

You know. The kind of day when you just can't seem to get it together. Almost every day is like that around here. This is Syd wearing Dalton's clothes. I got her all the way dressed to go to the doctor like this. I would have left her that way (because I didn't have time and she really does think that little brothers are awesome) but that would mean that Dalton would have had to wear the pink one that said, "little sisters rock"!
I took them to the doctor for their 6 month check up by myself because Brett was home with a very sick Madi. She threw up yesterday in class and 10-15 times after that. She seems much better today but I have  a feeling it will go through the rest of us and if it does, there will be a lot more mixed up clothes in our future (that is, if I can keep up with the laundry)!
I hope to blog soon about their check-up, Christmas, our Utah trip, etc.
