Brrrrrr!

My girls are nuts! Brett was out in the yard today working on the garden and they asked if they could run through the sprinklers. Brett said it was ok so they put their swimming suits on and went outside. The next thing I knew, they were jumping in the pool. It is 71 degrees here today but the water couldn't be that warm. When they got done they said, 

"it was cold-but it was fun!"

My Dad's favorite movie line is from "The Fugitive" when Harrison Ford jumps off of the dam and Tommy Lee Jones says, "We got a gopher"!
I remember as a kid going out with my dad in the evening to check gopher traps in the hay fields. He HATES gophers. They make can make such a mess out of a field that you have put so much work it to. So, I was so happy to call him the other day to let him know that we killed one. He has been making a mess out of our garden-especially in the potatoes. We are not sure how he got into this residential neighborhood-kind of crazy. Now we are just waiting to see if he has any friends!

A Fun Visit

My family (minus Shad and Chance) all came to see us this past week. We have been begging my Dad and Jade to come to the farm show since we moved here and they finally did this year! We were all SO excited for them to come. We had a great time even though my kids were sick (and are still sick) the entire time. These are the only pictures I took.

Fog Days

This has been the view from our house for 4 days straight. We have had a 3 hour fog delay for school for the last 3. It never seems to clear out. We are SO ready to see the sun again.
