Bookshelves
I found this cute idea online to make a book shelf out of rain-gutters. They were a lot cheaper than the ones I wanted to buy! They ended up being pretty cute and it is nice to be able to tell the girls to go read in their beds before bed. They are reading really well now.

Scott & Krista
My cousin Scott got married in Sacramento at the end of June. It was SO nice to have the wedding in California because I only had to drive 4 hours instead of 9. We had lots of fun hanging out with the Fam. I took lots of pictures so that I could send some to Chance. He and Scott are very close. He was sad to not be there, but he is LOVING Chile. He has been out 9 months now-crazy how time flies.

Garden Update
Our families have been asking for an updated picture of our garden. Here you go...
East side

Our MONSTER Zucchini plant. It came out of the ground only 3 weeks ago.
Lettuce
I had to get on top of the truck to take this picture because at eye level it looks like a jungle. You can't see through it.
I wish you were all here to help us eat this stuff. The girls are already sick of zucchini and salads for dinner every night!

These are just random pictures of some Kabobs we made. They were too pretty (and yummy too!) to not take pictures!

Opposite of opposite day
The girls rarely dress the same. Even when they were little I rarely dressed them the same. I guess I just feel that even though they are twins, they don't need to look the same because they are not the same.
This morning, after breakfast, I told the girls to get dressed. I could hear them in the bedroom giggling and whispering and I knew that something was up. Then they came out at the same time and said, "TA DA"!!!
It was like the scene from the old Parent Trap movie where they come walking down the stairs in their white t-shirts and jeans. They were dressed exactly alike. Same headbands, same shirts, same lip gloss on. They were so excited about it. I said to Madi, "so, this is what you were up to."
She said, "Yep-this was our evil plan!."
Saige said, "can you tell which is which?"
Sorry Saige-you will never be able to switch places on me! Even though the doctors told us they would be identical it is clear that they are not.
They even took it to the extreme. We only have one yellow cup like this and when Madi chose it, Saige told her that they would have to share it or they wouldn't be the same.
Later in the day (when it got hot) Madi wanted to change into shorts and Saige said, "but then we won't look the same anymore."
Anyway, I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of my twinsies! I love them so much.
Rolled eyes and all.

Garden
This is what Brett and I have been doing the past 2 months (mostly Brett). I am afraid we got a bit over our heads. We have planted WAY more than we will ever be able to eat. It will be fun if something will actually produce. We've planted corn, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, onions, potatoes, lettuce, cilantro, basil, carrots, asparagus, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, green beans, cucumbers, and peach trees. Everything is growing really good right now but I am worried about how we will keep it alive once it gets hot. It is going to be a lot of work but it will be worth it when we are putting garden tomatoes on our sandwiches this summer. Ummm....my mouth is watering!
Random pictures
The girls have also been 'training' Rollie for the dog olympics. They have him going down the slide, jumping through the hula-hoop, and climbing on top of his dog house.
