Sunday we went to church then had an Easter egg hunt. Grandma is always doing fun things for us.
I guess we went to Red Robin for lunch-forgot about that.
Then we went to see our friends Roger and Karen Woodruff (AKA our "candy corn" grandma.)
I guess I had better explain that...when we lived in Idaho their youngest daughter Amy was really struggling. She they brought their trailer and moved to Idaho for a few months so that Amy could work in the vet clinic. I was SO happy to see people from Bako and it was so fun to have them around with us for a bit. Whenever she would come over or see the kids she would bring them candy. It was fall so it was often Candy Corns. The littles couldn't quite figure out how we knew them or if we were related to them or not so somehow we started calling Karen our Candy Corn Grandma.
Karen had Cancer then so we decided we better stop and see her. She lived about a year longer and then passed away. The kids still talk about her and we are so grateful for all that Roger and Karen have done for us.
We decided to let the kids run around for a bit before getting back in the car for a drive. Martha told us about this fun park called Thunder Junction. It was PACKED with people but the kids had a great time. I had a hard time keeping track of both littles with all of the people so I was glad to get out of there!
Zip line!
Then we headed to Vegas and stopped in at Bass Pro Shop
