Columbus Trip-Nov 2016

In November we were able to go to a vet conference in Columbus, OH. I had never been there so it was really fun.
On our way down we had a few minutes to shop for a coat for Brett. We really liked this one but it was the only one in his size and it was missing a button. So I got online and ordered it on my phone. A week later this VERY SAME coat showed up in the mail. It was shipped from Las Vegas. I had to send it back and order again! What are the chances?
This was the view from our room-it was the Veterans Day Parade!

Chad Wright from Bako was there and so we decided to walk downtown and have dinner at an italian restaurant. While we were walking (to and from) we got caught up in a Trump protest. It was a little bit scary to be honest as the crowd was very hostile. I couldn't believe all of the profanity they were saying and had on their signs. And a lot of people we protesting with their little kids. They kept chanting, "love trumps hate". Their protest was so full of hate-contradicting everything they were saying. It was an interesting experience. There were SO many people!

Dinner was excellent and it was so fun to catch up with Chad.

I made Brett drive me by the stadium where Ohio State plays football. We don't like them but it was fun anyway-so huge! I was hoping to catch a game while we were there but they were away that weekend.
