I don't know if I mentioned this before or not but when I washed my phone it messed my camera up really bad-lots of dead pixels. That is why there are red spots on all my pictures now-everyone looks like they have bad acne!
Martha and Roy showed up that morning and it was so fun to spend the 4th with them.
Dalton had so much fun with my cousin Tanner. Tanner and Chase were so cute with him during the sleep-out. They were playing night games and they were totally letting him tag along. When we were pulling out of town I asked the kids, "Who had fun on the 4th?".
Dalton replied, "I didn't. Because Tanner didn't come over the next night to play Ghost in the Graveyard with me"?
Having these older boys play with him has caused a little bit of a problem because now Dalton thinks that boys this age everywhere want to be his friend and his feelings are hurt when they don't!
I try to talk these girls into doing a float every year but all they want to do is catch candy!
The Veterans float. Every year there are fewer and fewer of them. Kinda sad.
Here comes tater on his extra tall unicycle.
And Lon beside him on a much shorter one-still impressive tho. You should see Lon ride down the skinny retaining wall at Grandma's-crazy!!
Mom looks proud but it freaks her out that he does this!
Parker joining in. How come no one taught me to ride?
Syd was cracking us all up with her dance moves.
We sure missed Brenda this year. The program was not the same without her on the organ. This is a picture of her that they had up this year.
The ladies from the "Kitchen Band" (Grandma on the right, Loanna in the middle, and Aunt Sharron on the left) gave a nice tribute to Brenda.
Mia thought it was boring!
Digging for treasures at the games.
Water slide!!
Zac and I got to hang out for a bit while his mom was sick.
I still suck at taking selfies!
I ran over to Grandma's to get some towels for the kids (and some root beer) and I sat my phone on the counter. I found these later. So fun. Love these girls!
Later we played some corn hole in the back yard.
I had to get a picture of the two Daltons together. We have to call them Big Dalton and Little Dalton to keep them straight! Big Dalton left a few days later for his mission in North Dakota. Cannot believe he is old enough for that!
Zac found a way out!
That night we went over to Sundee's for a BBQ. They always throw a great party.
Funny thing about uncle Lon. Every year when I miss the 4th in CV he calls me to rub it in. The only time it didn't make me sad was right after Dalton Syd were born. I didn't feel like going anywhere! I can't wait for him to miss one so I can call him and give him a hard time.
My Cute Mom.
Tater and Bailey
We wore Dalton out. (The rest of us were pretty tired too)!
