Our Christmas was very interesting this year. We were all SO excited to go home and spend time with our families. Unfortunately, our trip didn't start out so well. As we were packing up the car, our neighbor Vickie came down and said that she thought her house had been broken into. So, we called the cops and I sent Brett down to help her investigate. While he was down there I had the kids take all of the suitcases and Christmas presents out to the driveway for Brett to load in the car when he got back. Then, Saige came out and said she wasn't feeling good and we all went back into the house to help her. She threw up and by the time we got back outside we saw that the sprinklers had come on and ruined all of our beautifully wrapped packages.
We did not know what to do. We had already paid for a hotel in St. George so we decided that we would just get in the car and go since we were already (almost) loaded up. BAD DECISION! We made it to Barstow and Saige started crying and asked to go back home. We probably would have except that I had shipped most of our Christmas gifts from Amazon straight to Circleville so we had to get there at some point! Saige ended up throwing up about 10 times before we made it to St. George and then all night once we got there. It was awful. Then we got to Midway and Roy got it really bad. We cut our trip there short because we were afraid the rest of us would get it and then not be able to drive down before Christmas morning. Plus we were afraid of getting everyone else sick! It sucked, but we had fun while we were there.

Ughhhh that sounds awful. Why do kids have to get sick when traveling. I LOVE seeing the cousins together. So cute.
