Halloween 2012

Carving Pumpkins. We got all of our stuff out to carve pumpkins and just before we made the first cut, Brett got called out. It was late, on a school night, and I just didn't have the energy to do it on my own. So we broke out the paints and painted them instead. The girls actually had more fun than I thought they would and came up with some creative paintings. I wish I would have taken a picture of the finished product. We put them on the front porch and every time we would go out the front door for a walk the babies would point to them and say "pump pin.

Trunk-or-Treat: I had THE cutest bear costume for Dalton but it was 80 degrees that night and I thought he would roast in it so the babies had to be pumpkins instead. I also thought it would be cute to dress them like Pebbles and BamBam but I realized that very few people would know who they were. Shows how old I am getting!
They were cute little pumpkins. Dalton's costume was WAY too small and it was going up his butt! Wish I would have gotten a picture of that.
Syd and our friend Dean. I have never seen her sit so still for so long. She loved him. It probably had something to do the big bag of candy he was holding!

Dalton wasn't too excited about the hat

He walked around ALL night with this reeces peanut butter cup in his mouth. When I finally got it out it was super soggy! It was so funny.

I sure like Dean and Amanda. So glad we got to meet them. Love the girls. Wow that hair on Madi is quite impressive. Dalton and Syd looked so cute. I guess you have to improvise quite often Nat when Brett isn't there. Painting pumpkins is just as good as carving.

Painting is a great way to decorate pumpkins - that was a smart call by you! I love the girls costumes- WOW they are fun. Can't wait to see pics of the baptism.
