Super Reader




I'm so proud of Saige. This week was the 4th quarter awards assembly at school and Saige was awarded the outstanding student award for her class and also the end of year reading award (that is awarded to 3 first grade students out of a hundred). She read 56 books totaling 243,919 words. I'm pretty sure that is more words than I've read in my entire life-I'm not kidding either!

That is so awesome for Saige. Such a great little student. All that reading will be to her advantage in the years to come. Sure am proud of her. Thanks for letting us know.

WOW! Good Job Saige-y! That is amazing. I am going to have to agree with you - I don't think I have ever read that many words in my life :)

I'm glad she likes to read. My two oldest love to read and I love it. Maybe we need to have a cousin read-a-thon?
