Dalton and the Bili light

When we first brought Dalton home he had Jaundice. It wasn't fun to have him be on the bilirubin light. It seems so long ago that they only things I can remember about it are that he peed out of his diaper EVERYTIME we put him in it. We could not keep him dry.
I hated having to put him on that hard bed. The other thing I remember is that Madisen hated it too and would not leave his side. Every time he had to lay in it, she would lay down by him (pictures below) and hold his hand and talk to him. They already have a special bond. He lights up when he sees her. She tells him all of the time, "I'm your mom"!
 My little glow worm!

That is adorable that Madi would lay by him. She is such a cute older sister. I HATE those beds. I am sad he had to be in it!

What a natural little nurturer that Madi is. She is a blessing in disguise. At some point down the road Dalton might challenge her motherly ways. But it will be a long time down the road until he is bigger than Madi. But on flip side he might just love her attention.
