A couple of years ago I stared taking violin lessons. I really didn't have much of a desire for me to learn a new instrument but I really want my girls to be involved in something that will give them some self-confidence when they get to be teenagers. Everyone I talked to about the violin said that most teachers make the moms take lessons along with their kids. So, I figured that it might be easier if I got a head start so that I could be more helpful to them when they started. Well, I found a teacher for them and she happened to have an opening right now! I had planned on starting them next year but she told me that she has kids as young as 3.
Yesterday they had their first lesson. I have to say...it was so cute! The violin they are playing is so small and cute. Hopefully I can do better at making them practice than I have at practicing myself!

That is so adorable. I think the Violin is awesome. I wish I knew how to play it. They will be so glad when they are older. Your a good mom.

How cute is that! I love that they are playing the violin. Maybe next time I see them they'll know a song. I wish I could see them in action:)
Wow, what studious little violin students you have there. Their concentration is right on. I love the way Saige is holding her fingers. They are so sweet standing there trying so hard. Sure do love them.
